About Us

Since opening in 1973, Char-Mar School of Dance has provided a safe, encouraging space for students to explore their passion for dance. For over forty years, we have taught ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, contemporary, modern, acro-dance, hip hop, and much more!

 

In addition to our studio classes, we travel to pre-school and elementary school after-care programs in the North Palm Beach County area. At these locations, we teach tap, jazz, hip-hop, and basic dance technique.

 

At Char-Mar, we are always striving to improve for our dancers.  We continuously work to create a positive dance experience through better classes, teaching methods, studio space, technology, etc.

We understand the importance of creating an environment conducive to your child's growth and development. Our staff is dedicated to providing the best dance education for our students while also teaching them to have fun, grow confidence, and never give up.
